Base Team

The Base Team is the group of people who are responsible for the actual implementation of the entire route of the 3rd WM and for carrying out the functions of assembly and coordination of the routes, institutional relations, documentation, production of general materials and dissemination.

The EB is made up of some activists who will dedicate themselves to some of these functions.

In addition, about 150 of them will take turns to do one of the sections of the route (for some days up to 15 days or more). In total, we aim to have about 15 participants doing the route at the same time.

The 3rdMM, through its members and participants, is committed to spreading an image of respect for others and for the environment. Therefore, the members of the Base Team (EB) must be aware that we share a common responsibility for the success of our mission and the future of our planet. It is essential that each member of our EB is aware of this responsibility for the proper development of this collective project, which is being joined by thousands of mobilized volunteers around the world who will welcome us with open arms. We must fulfill a common mission and always prioritize the general interest in favor of Peace and Nonviolence.

Registration for the Base Team remains open throughout the March. Anyone can propose their candidacy. Each member of the Base Team finances his or her own participation, but will count on the hospitality offered by the people of the places he or she visits.

The times and parts of the route taken by the participants in the March can be agreed with Rafael de la Rubia, responsible for the international Base Team.
